Mimi Morris graduated from New Trier high school in 2013, where she served as the Varsity Captain and helped her team finish in fourth place at the Illinois High School Association 4A Championship. Mimi then went on to graduate from James Madison University in 2017 where she played outfield and helped her team from the left side of the plate, both slapping and hitting. Between 2014-2017 JMU was consistently ranked in the top 15 D-1 teams in the country. They won back-to-back CAA championships in 2016 and 2017 and went on to the NCAA Division I softball Tournament all four years, hosting Regionals and Super Regionals in 2016. Mimi received the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award and was a JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete.
